Below we have listed information on dams we have used in the past few years.  These ewes are no longer in our flock; but are included for reference only.   For a description of our udder/teat/milk ratings click here.  Those marked as NA are ones we forgot to rate as we got busier with lambing.

MGR 5006 3.11 3.85 BZ 3210 MGR 1172 T M 4 5006's dam is the twin to Big Chops MGR 4001.  A very stylish ewe with extra size.  Her ram lamb was the pick of 2007 crop., and since then her lambs have been cream of the crop.

MGR 6002 3.95 NA K 5087 MGR 1172 T S 3 She and her offspring are noted for their loineyes.  One of her ewe lambs, MGR 8002, scanned 4.00 actual loin at 108 lbs.  Unheard of in the sheep industry.
                 
MGR 6013 3.92 3.82 MGR 4001 KIMM 2218 T S 3 Dam of 6013 is BZ3217.  She handled twins nicely as a ewe lamb.  Her lambs averaged 3.45 scan.  She has extra scale - growth for NSIP growth rams.
                 
MGR 6029 3.67 3.83 KIMM 5087 MGR 1172 T M 4 6029 is by the 4013 ewe.  Handled twins very well as a ewe lamb.  Many ewes kept from this ewe.  Two top ewe lambs in 2012.  Scanned 3.619 and 3.78.  Best of the NSIP production numbers.  She has turned out to be a true stud ewe.  NSIP #690035-2006-006029
                 
MGR 7014 4.15 3.65 MGR 4001 McG 38 T S NA From one of our strongest ewe families. 7014 is very stout and her lambs follow that pattern.
                 
MGR 7027 3.38 3.72 MGR 4001 MGR 1172 M M 3 This ewe is producing very good lambs.   In 2008 and 2009 she produced 3 ewe lambs.  One is retained and two were very early picks from the sell group.  Her 2010 ram lambs were very thick with big rear ends.  One of them, MGR 223 (See flock sire history), was used here for a sire and was the top pick going to Michigan in 2011.

Kimm 7183 3.32 NA Harms 226 KIMM 6031 P M 4 We retained two of the triplet ewe lambs from 2009.  Her 2010 ewe lamb was Champion Market Lamb at the Interstate Livestock Show  Her ram lamb was Supreme Champion Ram at Clark County.  Top rams in 2011 and 2012 as well.
                 
Kimm 7199 3.03 NA VA 268 SL 9146 T S 2 She has had 3 ram lambs in 2008 and 2009.  All sold well.  7199 is half frame with good growth and clean fleece.
                 
MGR 8001 3.72 3.95 MGR 7004 KIMM 5087 NA NA NA This ewe is noted for transmitting deep loineyes to her offspring.  Her ram lamb MGR 2005 has been used by a prominent Ohio flock to improve loineyes.  He is one of our stud rams.  Three other sons have brought $2,250.  See NSIP report page.  NSIP# 690035-2008-MG8001
                 
MGR 8031 3.56 3.28 MGR 7004 K 3156 T M 4 8031 and her quad sister 8032 are excellent ewes.  Their dam 5078 had 15 lambs in 5 lambings. 
                 
MGR 8039 3.69 3.20 MGR 7004 KIMM 5087 M M 4 In 2012 triplets did very well.  She milks well and we look forward to this year's lambs.   NSIP# 690035-2008-MG8039
                 
Kimm 8051 3.22 NA M 5211 McG 38 M M 4 We purchased this ewe because of her pedigree.  Good NSIP numbers.  She is a complete ewe.  Her son, MGR 349, has a carcass+ index of 149, fifth highest of rams in the nation.
                 
MGR 8074 3.81 3.41 K 7050 MGR 4001 NA NA NA This ewe is producing thick lambs.  Breeding her to MGR 2005 has been outstanding.  Her ewe lamb 2018 had a 3.98 in2 loineye.  Her 2013 lamb is likewise thick and looks the part.
                 
MGR 8080 4.12 NA K 7050 MGR 4001 T S 4 A good solid ewe that we retained two ewe lambs from in 2010.
                 
MGR 9003 2.99 NA K 7050 Mc 5-14 T M 4 This ewe produced show lambs in 2012 and 2013.
                 
MGR 9008 3.59 4.00 K 7050 MGR 4001 M M 4 Dam is 7014.  Stout ewe and so is 9008.
                 
MGR 9018 3.53 3.38 K 7050 MGR 4001 T M 3 Dam is 7027.  Again stout.  9018 is mternal sister to Supreme Champion ram MGR 223.
                 
MGR 9023 3.49 3.67 MSU 7104 KIMM 5087 T M 4 9023 is a growth type ewe.  Her first lamb sold at Center of the National sale for $700.  Solid udder for her age.   Dammed by 6029 ewe.  NSIP# 690035-2009-MG9023
                 
MGR 9044 3.73 3.42 K 7050 MGR 4001 T M 3 A ewe who has the look to produce good market class lambs.  Her 2012 ram lamb was Champion Suffolk ram at the Interstate Livestock Show.
                 
MGR 9047 3.12 3.45 K 7050 MGR 4001 NA NA NA She was shown as a Champion Ewe Lamb.  Her last pair of twins sold for $1400. 
                 
MGR 9117 3.34 3.39 MGR 7014 K 5087 NA NA NA This ewe has strong loineye breeding.  We have already sold 3 of her offspring.

MGR 347 3.40 3.46 MGR 7004 MGR 3462 NA NA NA 347 is a full sister to the ram that sold to Virginia Tech to study loineyes.  He is on his 4th breeding season with them.  A producer at 11 lambs in 15 lambings.  NSIP# 690035-2010-MG0347
                 
MGR 358 2.87 3.13 K 9068 K 7050 T S 3 A very stout ewe that produces top market class lambs.  Very competitive.

MGR 1021 3.01 NA MSU 7104 KIMM 96163 T S 4 MSU 7104 was the highest growth ram of all time. PWWT +13.  Not only were her twins shown - the female was 2nd in a class of 8.  The male was Ch. Suffolk and was sold for $1,000.

Suffolk ewe as a lamb.  A true total performance ewe.  MGR 8018 was used by Virginia Tech.  In 2014 she produced Champion Suffolk ewe lamb and first market lamb in class.  She is MGR 4156 and is currently the top ewe in nation for Carcasse+ index at 179.  NSIP# 690035-2012-002077
